Christine Wright Fundamentals
Time & Location
About the Event
Christine Wright has taught a daily professional level ballet class geared toward the contemporary dancer in New York City for the past 26 years. She now brings her vast knowledge and expertise to a daily class in the gorgeous studios of Canada’s National Ballet School.
Based on sound principles of anatomy, the focus of the class is movement and flow. Interested in more than biomechanics, Ms. Wright focuses on teaching movers skills that enable them to bring out their own innate abilities, resulting in freedom of movement built on a firm foundation. This class is appropriate for those with a movement background, dancers, and movement teachers hoping to develop a sound practice and understanding of placement and awareness of their own bodies.
